Instructions for Donations by Zelle

 

To contribute or donate using Zelle, simply log into your banking app and use the recipient's registered email (support@friendsofcalpolyrowing.orgor phone number. It works like digital cash, transferring funds directly from your bank account to the recipient's in minutes with zero fees. 

Follow these steps to send your contribution:

  1. Access Zelle: Open your bank’s mobile app or log into online banking and navigate to the Zelle or Pay & Transfer section. (If you don't have it, check the Zelle Participating Banks directory). 

  2. Add the Recipient: Select the option to send money. You will need to enter the recipient's U.S. mobile number or email address (support@friendsofcalpolyrowing.org).

  3. Verify: Always double-check the recipient's name that pops up to ensure you are sending your money to the right person or organization.

  4. Enter Amount and Send: Type in your contribution amount, include a note if requested (e.g., "Charity Donation" or your email for tax receipts), and hit Confirm. 
     

Because Zelle transactions happen almost instantly and cannot be canceled once sent, only use this method for contributors, friends, or organizations you know and trust
