Founders’ Circle
As we launch this effort from nothing, the team is in significant need of boats and equipment in order to sustain its growth. To address this, we hope to get at least 15 to 20 members to join our Founders’ Circle, by pledging and donating at least $1,000 per year for the first three years. Of course a one-time donation of $3,000 or more would be welcome as well.
Boat House Fund
Although our near-term focus is on immediate needs, we hope to come to an agreement with the County to be able to build permanent boathouse at Santa Margarita Lake. However, construction is estimated to cost $800,000 to $1,000,000 for basic two-bay, steel frame building. We hope to receive some grant funding, but your support matters immensely. More to come...
Endowment
Down the road a ways, we hope to establish an endowment fund to support the long-term stability and success of the program. We're not there yet, but it's never to early to start thinking about the future.
